Andrew Shanahan (Shan) has been a journalist for over twenty years. In that time he has written for nearly every national newspaper, including the really awful ones. He has started two businesses – I Am Staggered, which helped grooms, best men and fathers of the bride. MAN v FAT has now helped over four million men around the world to win their battle against weight.

From 2020 he has become a full-time fiction writer, commencing with the publication of his first book Before and After. In 2020 he is publishing another two books. His first book for children, in partnership with Yolander Yeo and 232 Miles Of: a book of stories about the M6 motorway.
